European Union has pushed operating system E TIAS for 2024, although it is meant to take effect on November 1 of this year.
The introduction of this system has become an important topic for Kosovo citizens, because visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens has been linked to it.
However, in the visa decision for Kosovo, it is said whether the system E TIAS, does not go into effect until November of this year, visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens will come into force on 1 January 2024.
How does ETHIAS work?
ET The IAS is a European system for authorisation and travel information.
This system of fully electronics allows you to verify the data of third-nation citizens who need no visas to enter the Schengen Zone.
It requires name, birth country, gender, nationality, and anyone who meets the form must have passport, email and a credit card to carry out the symbolic payment for this document.
Travel authorisation is issued quickly and automatically, unless there are doubts about the contrary.
Valid document E TIAS is then revised by the state border guard, who makes the final decision on the traveler's potential entry into a place of the Schengen Zone.
