Through a media communique, the government has provided details about this meeting, where Kurti is said to have informed ambassadors about the performance of talks Saturday in Ohrid.

“In this broad and joint meeting, he briefed them on the performance of talks Saturday in Ohrid, North Macedonia, and the result reached there in the case of public agreement on the application of the” Base Agreement.

“In the text of the Anex agreed on in Ohrid it says that Kosovo and Serbia are fully committed to respecting all provisions of the Agreement and Anex, and to implement all their respective obligations that stem from the agreement, and Anexi properly and in trust. It also says that Kosovo and Serbia agree that all articles will be implemented independently by each other”, the report said.

In addition, it becomes known that Kurti has stressed that Kosovo's delegation has been fully dedicated and constructive.

“Prime Minister Kurti stressed that the delegation of the Republic of Kosovo has been fully committed and constructive, but also creative with offers and proposals that were rejected from the other side, which, as in Brussels on February 27th, again refuses to sign. The way for Kosovo's application for membership in the Council of Europe and in the European Union is open”.

“As far as membership is concerned with the Council of Europe, Kosovo already has the necessary number of member states' votes, while the Council's legal department has confirmed that there is no legal obstacle to full membership of the Republic of Kosovo in this key organisation”, the statement said further.
