Conjufca: Association does not make the deal established

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has said it fails to establish association before the agreement, since, according to him, it would be a big mistake.

In Ohrid we have to go with our position that the deal is structured like this: Recognition De-Facto occurs and then Kosovo finds the modus to the Association. If we leave the counter, Kosovo suffers and is damaged and it is wrong to position itself like that”, Konjufca has said.

He said establishing the association would only be a kind of abstract promise, which is not a major damage to Kosovo, but with this, we can take a major step forward.

So, nothing was given to you more than the Constitutional Court that it provided, with a chance to capture recognition of De-Facto from Serbia that would be a step forward. But, I think it won't happen because Serbia won't accept this, that it is in the scales, that it weighs to recognise Kosovo de-Facto, and after recognition De-Facto, what are Serbia's prospects, what it can do to win Serbia, what kind of mechanism in Kosovo. I think that I can create a forum of Serbian municipalities, where they gather and they talk about their problems”, Konjufca said at ATV.
