Citizens on the anniversary of Epope: Remember the suffering experienced by our people

Hundreds of citizens from around the country have visited Kazerma “Adem Jashari”, on the 25th anniversary of the glorious era of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
They have visited Kosovo Security Force military units closely and told their children the history of the Albanian people for freedom and independence. Until they say it's very important that the younger generations have more knowledge of the KLA war and the heroic fall of the Jashar family in Prekaz.

According to them, the history of the Jashar family should be explained each generation.

Citizens Lutfi Bytyqi, who came from Maliseva with his grandchildren, said it is very important that the new generations know more about the history Kosovo has been through.

We're from Malisevo. It's very important this date for KLA, martyrs and the Jashar family... I've come with my grandchildren and it's very important this historic date for our country... It is very important to explain history to new generations”, Bytyqi said.

Among the hundreds of citizens present, there were also children from different schools to look closely at KSF units.

Director of primary school “Skender the name Allah”, from the Committee of the Year, which has brought visiting school students to Kazerman “Adem Jashari”, said it is important that children know that the history of those who have given their lives for freedom is remembered every year.

It is very important that our youth, our students and our children know a lot about the history of the people of Kosovo, because history should not be forgotten, it should be remembered every year, to remember the sacrifice of the people who have given their lives for this country, which these children now enjoy”, Zejundu said.

Even Shaban Hasani, who has brought his grandson to look closely at KSF units, said it is wrong if he does not confess to young people the suffering the country has experienced.
If we don't explain it to you (the country's history), then it's our mistake, I'm here with my nephew anyway... not to forget the suffering our people have experienced and now we are well free of”, Hasani said.

On the 25th anniversary of the heroic fall of legendary Commander Adem Jashar, the Jashar family, the martyrs of the nation, as well as all of those who fall for freedom, the Government of Kosovo on March 5th 6th and 7th has organised the popular manifesto “The era of the Kosovo Liberation Army”.

Tomorrow, there will continue the prayer at Prekaz, then the Kosovo Assembly will hold the solemn session, and the afternoon will be held at the Memorial Academy.

On March 7th, however, the night of fires will be held in Prekaz, as well as an artistic programme in the Skyeraj Square.
