He has said the agreement is a big achievement and that it creates a new status quo in dialogue. Borrell has said the agreement and the annex have entered into force with the statement issued.
He has added that the agreed provisions would be organised as an integral part of the roads of Kosovo and Serbia to the EU.
Speaking of the agreement, Borrell has said it must be implemented according to a certain calendar and that it will be closely followed as both sides observe these obligations.
He has suggested that the annex stresses that Kosovo is committed to the immediate development of association.
“Anexi clearly stresses that Kosovo is committed to the immediate development of the association of Serb municipalities in northern Kosovo. We will follow closely how both sides implement these obligations that are integral parts of their roads to Europe”, Borrell said.
