US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Wednesday that any European country that is part of the International Criminal Court (ICC) should arrest Russian President Vladimir Putin if he visits that state.
I think whoever's party in court and has obligations should meet them”, Blinken said in response to a question from Republican Senator Lindsay Graham, at a hearing of the Senate's Department of Separations.
Blinken did not say US authorities would hand over the Russian president to the ICC, if he went there, noting that the US is not a party to the court, writes CNN.
