In a Facebook post, Bislimi says Kosovo needs only one last vote, heri in the final removal of visas.

Bislimi says citizens will be able to move visa-free as of January 1st, 2024.

Even a recent vote has remained, in completing procedures for visa liberalisation.

Following the EU Council of Ministers vote on March 9th, the European Parliament for Civil Freedoms, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) voted today the text for Kosovo to remove the visa regime, thus paving the way for the last remaining vote in the plenary session of the European Parliament.

After the last step at the European Parliament session, which is expected to be held on April 18th, only signing and publishing in the official EU newspaper will remain.

At the conclusion of these latest procedures, Kosovo citizens will be able to move without visas, no further than January 1st of 2024, thus ending a similar reception.
