Albania's President Bajram Begaj has commemorated the 25th anniversary of the Jasar family's heroic fall.
Begaj, on a Facebook note, has said the Jashar family are the cornerstone of Kosovo's freedom.
Today, on this 25th anniversary of the Battle of Precazi, we respectfully honor the legendary hero and commander, Adem Yasar, and the martyrs of freedom who gave their life in this battle after three days of resistance and heroism. It would take stability and heroism of Adam Jashar and his family for Kosovo to begin a new era of freedom and democracy! They're the cornerstone of her freedom”, wrote Begaj on Facebook.
“Glory be to the heroic work of legendary Commander Adem Jashari and all those who sacrificed for Kosovo freedom”, he added.
