Invited to “Top Story”, Rama said police have approached authors even though there is still no result.
Rama: Police have approached the authors but still have no results, either in their capture or in their motives.
Question: In 32 years you have seen Albania in the positions of intellectual, politician and clearness for Albania's atmosphere does not come only from the intuition of a prime minister. Why does it happen for the first time in a war situation to hit a media?
Rama: I'm trying to explain beyond the dry explanation I can give right now while the police are working intensively. Freedom of media in Albania has never been in the situation today, in a positive way. Never before has the media today had the freedom to say whatever it wants, to express any perspective, even in a sense to abuse its freedom as a whole. I can deny that these types of events - and not only - have a way of showing aggression that makes them very violent, noisy, and very disturbing.
Question: Should the political class, even you, shoulder some kind of responsibility?
Rama: I don't speak in the name of the class and take over the sins of the class. I don't think this shock is the result of popular frustration. This is criminal aggression. I don't want to give opinions, and I want to congratulate Top Channel on the fact that he was self-controllable in what might naturally be the answer right now to point his finger.
