Ambassador critics: Silence Opposition

Ambassadors of Powerful states to our country ( The US, Germany), has issued criticism in recent 24 hours towards the Kosovo opposition over its controversy over the Franco-German plan.

Periscope has asked questions in the direction of both parties, LDK and PDKBut so far, we haven't been given any answers.

It is not known why the opposition is failing to structure any stance on such criticism, but the only one that has reacted so far is LDK deputy Avdullah Hoti as well as former Kosovo prime minister.

Hoti wrote last night:

“The LDK is against fraud, not against Kosovo state partners.

The political force leading the country has deceived citizens for 15 years, because:

He has rejected the Ahtisaari Plan that has brought about independence;

) has rejected the Stabilisation and Association Agreement that has driven Kosovo's European integration path;

He has opposed the Washington Agreement signed at the White House, which has brought recognition from Israel and other benefits;

He has violently rejected the demarcation agreement with Montenegro, despite the call from top US officials to support him, and today considers demarcation as a matter committed;

He has rejected all dialogue agreements in the past 10 years, some of which have enabled sovereignty across the entire territory of the country and have assured Kosovo of presence at international forums;

) has violently rejected the 2015 principle agreement, which provides implementation of the Kosovo Constitution in implementing the 2013 agreement.

Meanwhile, now the same political force agrees to implement all preliminary agreements and is called into specific elements of those agreements providing constitutionality in implementation.

LDK is against fraud.

LDK is for the state of Kosovo.

The LDK is to maintain partnership with friends”.

Germany's ambassador to KosovoJorn Rohde, Today, he has warned the opposition not to use the topic of Association for domestic political games. Rohde called on opposition parties to support the Franco-German plan, reminding them that Kosovo's closest partners stand firmly behind this proposal.

Therefore, I want to hope that the opposition will have constructive behaviour and that this super political theme will not be used for domestic political games as it had happened in the past. Even the United States of America has expressed concern over statements made by the opposition for rejecting the European proposal.

This embassy response refers to objections that have recently surfaced the opposition parties -- the PDK's LDK -- to the EU proposal for normalising relations with Serbia that was orally accepted in Brussels on February 27th by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq.

“We are concerned with statements made by leaders and opposition party officials expressing their opposition to the EU proposal. These views do not match US support for the” proposal, says the American Embassy spokesman.

In a statement issued to the online newspaper Reporter.net notes that the US has made it clear that it supports the facilitated dialogue by the European Union, and the European proposal for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

The former “The United States has repeatedly made it clear that we support the relaxed dialogue from the EU. In particular, we fully support the EU proposal for the road to normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
