While charged with Flora Doda, she was acquitted. The trial against the four indictees was announced Thursday by the chairman of the court, Alban Ajvazi, reports “The Justice Vow “bet“.

Following the trial, accused Dherem Krasniqi of criminal work “of not reporting or reporting false wealth, income, gift, other material benefits or financial obligations” was sentenced to 6 months in prison and 8 thousand euros in fines. The prison sentence, accused Krasniqi with his consent could be replaced by fines. While, it was acquitted of criminal acts “impact control” and “Use of official task”.

Margone Berisha, on the other hand, was sentenced to 5 thousand euros in fine for “Forging” documents. The same, the same car will return.

Under the trial, Ardian Krasniqi was sentenced to one year in prison and a thousand euros in fine for “Forging “documents, using official task” with 4 years in prison and 5 thousand euros in fines.

To him, the unique sentence was pronounced 4 years and 8 months in prison and 6 thousand euros in fines. In this sentence, the accused will also be counted as having spent time in house custody and arrest. If they do not pay fines, the same was replaced by prison sentences. The accused, Ardian Krasniqi, was also declared an additional sentence, a ban on the exercise of office in public administrations or services, in the course of two years, following the execution of the sentence.

While Flora Doda was acquitted. The accused are charged with paying the equivalent of 200 euros and 50 euros in compensation for crime victims. The damaged side, for realising the property-juridical demand, is directed at civil conflicts.

Otherwise, the court suspended judicial examination on February 6th 2023, after case prosecutor Zejnullah Gashi asked the court to decide without pressure from the public, while citing efforts to intervene in this criminal case. The court estimated that it cannot go on and that regarding the prosecutor's claims the State Prosecutor's Office will be announced to assess his claims once again, whether there have been attempts at interference or pressure, even if the prosecutor's statement concerns violations of the Ethics Code on the part of the prosecutor. While, at the March 7th 2023 session, the chairman of the court, Alban Ajvazi, said that in terms of prosecutor Gashi's claims, he has been addressed. State chief prosecutor Besim Kelmendi on February 7th. The judge has announced that on February 27th, 2023, they have received a report by Chief Prosecutor Kujtim Munishi, and the same had stated that the prosecutor's statements do not conflict with the state prosecutor's position.

At the December 21st 2022 session, the defence had demanded the dropping of the indictment with the argument that the prosecutor has acted illegally, so without a mandate as prosecutor of the Randa Crimes, while the chairman of the court, Judge Alban Ajvazi, received the verdict with which he has rejected this proposal, since, according to him, the criteria for dropping the indictment have not been met. Otherwise, the initial review in this case is held on October 6, 2021, where the accused have been found innocent of charges charged. While the Constitutional Court in Pristina on November 25th 2021 had partially approved the demands of defenders of the accused, Dherem Krasniqi and Marigo Berisha, rejecting two points of indictment against Krasniqi, with which he was charged with misuse of the official position and Berisha for criminal work “Blerja, accepting or hiding items involved with the carrying out of criminal work”, and has declared it unacceptable as a test of a CD and transplantation. On the other hand, it has rejected the request of Drem Krasniqi to drop the indictment in connection with criminal activity “impact “and “Absument or false reporting of wealth, income, gift, other material benefits or financial obligations”.
