So far, the number of complaints against the wage Law in the Ombudsman Institution has reached 45.
This for “Justice Trust” has confirmed the ombudsman's spokesman, Petrit Colak.
According to him, complaints have been accepted by the country's unions and institutions. Also, he noted, officials who filed a complaint in their individual and group names have complained.

The Kosovo Assembly, in December last year, had adopted the Law on Salaries in the Public Sector, without its part being the amount of the cofficient to know how much more than 80 thousand workers in the public sector will receive.
Later, in January of this year, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani had decreed the Declaration of the Law on the Salaries in the Public Sector.
But to calculate each employee's basic salary, the Government of Kosovo on February 1, 2023, had made a decision to prosecute the Bill on Change and Fulfill the Law on Business Divisions for 2017, through which the amount of the coffient was determined, which according to this law was 105 euros.
On February 9th 2023, the Assembly adopted this law on second reading, while despite the opposition non-participation of this bill and their claims of constitutional violations, they had not prosecuted at the request to assess constitutional Constitutional Court within the constitutional and legal deadline of eight days.
Thus, on the last day of February, the president had decreed the Law as such and was published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Kosovo.
Under the Constitution and Law for the Constitutional Court, the launch of the case at the Constitutional Court can be done only through the ombudsman and by a community of 30, within six months of law entry.
