22 years in prison for the 2019 murder, his father is acquitted of attempted murder

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has declared a condemnation of accused Besnik Shkodra, condemning him to a unique sentence of 22 years in prison for the murder of Abin Jashar in February 2019 in Pristina. While, Bucky Shkodriqi was acquitted of being pushed into murder.

The trial against the two indictees was announced Friday by the chairman of the court, Conception Shyti.

According to the trial, accused Besnik Shkodra of criminal work “grave murder” was sentenced to 21 years in prison, while for illegal possession of 2 years in prison. To him, a unique sentence of 22 years was pronounced.

While accused Bucky Shkodriqi (the father of the faithful accused) was acquitted of having failed to prove that he committed the same offense.

According to this indictment, accused Besnik Shkodra is obliged to pay the procedure spending and the 200-euro sum for the judiciary and another 50 euros for the crime victims' compensation fund and 450 euros for expertise of the Forenzic Psychiatry Institute.

On this issue, on July 14, 2022, the reconstruction of the site had been made after the court's approval proposal on June 1st, 2022 of the defender of accused Besnik Shkodra, lawyer Skender Musa, reports the Justice Vow.

According to the indictment filed on September 22, 2020, by the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor, Besnik Shkodra was charged that on February 27, 2019, in Pristina, after an earlier dispute between him and now the late Abit Jashari, on the critical day, while the deceased was stuck on the path “Hagji Zeka” with his type <x2pel Omega <x>, was stopped on that road with the <x4Ci> C45>, precisely before the local name <6des>
