Over 100 new proposals for the list of essential drugs

The chairman of the key committee's list of medical products and obtaining materials, Driton Vela, said the job of verifying the essential list was launched in October last year.

“We have managed to expand the list in various locations. We also set the new transparency standard. One of the main goals of the committee has been to expand the list, we have accepted about 130 new proposals, 68 have been accepted. The proposal does not mean a new shepherd. The young shepherd generally includes the concept of serious illness. The range of new products includes all diseases in all human body organs”, Vela said.

He added that, in the future, there will be a completion of the legal basis for the list of essential drugs and the establishment of control mechanisms for its implementation.
