Over 100 murders, Brazil's notorious criminal is killed

A Brazilian considered the country's worst serial killer after committing more than 100 murders and was released after 42 years in prison, was executed Sunday near São Paulo. Filio, also called “Petrinio Matador” (“kasap Petrakis”), was 68 years old.
He had grown up in a violent environment. His father often beat his mother, and when he was a child, Pedro began working at a slaughterhouse when he was nine years old. He later said that his father had kicked his girlfriend when she was pregnant.
His first murder took place at the age of 14, and has since killed over 100 people, including his father, who was in prison for his mother's murder.
He was released in 2018. Since then he has told his life story in several media and documentaries. He has even started a career on YouTube, where he talked about his life, commented on various crimes, and warned young people not to commit criminal acts. On the Kwai platform, he became famous and counted more than 267,000 subscribers.
