Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has announced on Tuesday that within two days Serbia will sign the first contract with the United Arab Emirates for the purchase of kamikaza fears.

He told reporters in Abu Dhabi that “looks to” that after five or six months, the first kamikaze fears will reach the Serbian Armed Forces.

After a visit to the 2023 Military Arms and Equipment Fair, he added that in the coming days, he expects escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, which, according to him, would make Serbia's position even more difficult.

“We are facing a challenging period, and by [the version] President Vladimir Putin's statements, it is clear that he will continue with much severity the war in Ukraine. For several days, I expect major changes in the battlefield, and in further political action towards Serbia, from the West and from other international factors”, Vuciq said.

In a speech to the Russian nation on February 21, Putin accused Western countries of inciting the war for Russia's destruction.

He said Russia had done everything to avoid war, but that Ukraine, supported by the West, was planning to invade Crime.

Putin also said that Russia wants to resolve the conflict in Ukraine peacefully, “well behind our backs has been preparing a difficult” scenario.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, completes one year this week.
