AFP photo of Adem Altan took a series of pictures Tuesday in the town of Kahramanmara, showing Mesut Hancer sitting in a collapsed building while shaking the hand of his 15-year-old daughter, Irmak, who lost his life after the earthquake.
Rescue teams continue to search for survival in the ruins of flat buildings amid severe weather conditions expected to deteriorate in the coming days.
