AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli has spoken of tomorrow's meeting between Kurt and Vuciqi, and according to him, the famous document, known today as the European document, where Kosovo will take on the inevitable obligation to live up to “Ziednica” in exchange for the return of Serbs to Kosovo institutions.
In other words, the situation will emerge as a year ago; This agreement will benefit Serbia, but Kosovo, someone more and someone less. Serbia inevitably wins “Zieednica” and will secure its way to the EU with a certain “comfort <x1x4> to distance itself from Russia, but not to separate, Pacolli writes.
He says that “Kosovo, on the other hand, wins; return of Serbs to Kosovo institutions, or the possibility of holding elections in Serbian municipalities”.
Kosovo does not receive recognition from Serbia, but benefits from all Euro-Atlantic accessions or integrations, which Russia has no presence (incumbent), such as visa liberalisation, the Council of Europe, etc., and perhaps any recognition of any EU member state that has not yet recognised Kosovo.
The agreement in question with Serbia must be signed, just as any government would do before 2021 -- possibly with less trauma. As you can see, signing this agreement is completely contrary to what Prime Minister Albin Kurti once promised, as in the opposition.
Today, while contrary to his promises, it is good that things are moving toward a peaceful prospect. This agreement represents a major step towards resolving the problem with Serbia. The great credit belongs to our traditional US and EU friends, whom the people of Kosovo will live eternally grateful”, he said.
