Kosovo seismological Network leader shows which areas are most threatened by earthquakes

According to him, in seismic terms, Kosovo's territory is located in an area of relatively high seismic activity, and this is based on historical catalogues and parameters such as tectonics, sysmechtonics that have been in the past a high technology activity, then topography, geology formation, which Kosovo territory has from the oldest age to the younger age.

“This is a fact that shows very clearly because when we have all the ages of geology, it shows that there has been in the past a very pronounced tectonic, based on the topography we have, because Kosovo has a very pronounced topography, very well clarifying the tectonic secession<1>, Mustafa said.

He said the first major parameter is the historical catalog that has been hit in the past Kosovo territory, and there are three areas that have been hit by a quake of magnitude 6.0 and 6.1 steps and are: the area of Pec, the Prizren area and the Ferizaj area, the Year, Gjilan.
