Elon Musk donates nearly $2 billion of Tesla charity shares

Also on Wednesday, Musk said that by the end of this year there would be a good “ ” to find someone to succeed him as chief executive of Twitter, the BBC reports, it broadcasts Klanosova.tv.
The document, presented at the US Papers and Exchange Commission, showed that the donation was made between August and December last year.
Tesla did not immediately respond to a BBC request for comments.
It's not the first time Musk's given Tesla's shares for charity. He donated about $5.74 billion of shares in 2021, according to a regulatory file.
He also said on Twitter that year, that he planned to donate $20m to schools in Cameron County and $10m to the city of Brownsville in Texas for “the revival of Center”.
Musk has also hinted that he plans to find his successor as chief executive of Twitter by the end of 2023
