Shefqet Kabashi witness even in Thaci's case

The trial against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders is continuing at The Hague tribunal. As a witness in Thaci's and others' case today has appeared the former soldier of KLA, Shefqet Kabashi.

Kabashi had become known for his testimony to the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia for Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj cases.

At the beginning of his session, he was asked about the evidence he had given before the prosecution at the time and why he had not requested protection measures then.

Kabashi has said he had considered the safeguard clauses making sense at the time.
