Alexander Vulin has resigned from the post of head of Security Information Agency (BIA).
In a statement to the media, Alexander Vulin has said the US and the EU are demanding his head as a precondition not to impose sanctions on Serbia.
“I am not responsible for blackmail and pressure on Serbia and the Serbian world, but I will not allow myself to be the cause of blackmail and pressures on Serbia and the Serbian world. Therefore, I am resigning my irrevocable resignation from the position of BIA director”, said the BIA report, N1.
Voulin added that the sanctions imposed on him are evidence of his continuing struggle for the unity of Serbs.
However, imposing sanctions against Serbia, for which my further management of BIA would be used, would be proof of my selfishness”, Voulin said.
