Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's office said today that the country stands firmly next to Israel against Hamas, but also calls on Israel to be protected in line with international humanitarian law.
The plan requires that, in exchange for an immediate ceasefire by Israel, the Arab League and Turkey ensure the unconditional and secure release of all the hostages held by Hamas.
Israel would then withdraw all its forces from Gaza, with an international force led by the Arab League taking over to facilitate the reconstruction and transition of government from Hamas to the Palestinian Authority.
Rama said an international donor conference should be organised to refinance Gaza reconstruction.
