During the armed robbery that took place yesterday at a jewelry store in Suhareka, a policeman has been injured in his leg as a result of gunfire.
Prosecutor Ervehe Gashi from the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren said the robbery in Suhareka may be part of a structured criminal group.
Gashi has said that, if such a connection is confirmed, the issue will be transferred to the Kosovo Special Prosecutor.
“In the official report that when the steel ring was placed, I can't say whether it's in time or out of time. At the moment when I and the investigators of the case are convinced that there is a link between these cases then we are dealing with a well-organised group and an organised crime and it is not the subject of investigation of the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Prizren then the subject will also be passed to the Kosovo Special Prosecutor”, she has stated in the debate.
She also added that, at the moment, some investigation tracks are being dealt with and that they are interviewing witnesses and victims about the event.
It has also not confirmed or confirmed the possible connection to the case in Ferizaj, but has not ruled out the possibility of future contacts with Ferizaj's Prosecutor.
“We're dealing with some investigative tracks but further I can't declare because then information will flow that could prevent the capture of suspects. Today we've only dealt with technical issues with issuing the ordinance even with other investigative actions, but however, if necessary, we will contact Ferizaj's prosecutor. The prosecution has not yet conducted such an interview”, she has declared.
