Prices rise, up to 3.3 more citizens' baskets

The overall harmonised consumer prices index is higher at an average of 3.3% in October 2023, compared to the same period last year.
Based on KSF data, this growth is largely explained with the rise of consumer prices in this period in groups and subgroups of COICOP: vegetables (15.9%), trees (12.1%), goods and services for normal home economy maintenance (11.1 %), things and other recreative equipment, gardens and berries (8,4%), food products (7.5%), non-alcoholic drinks (6, sugar, jam, milk, chocolate, chocolate and cookies (6,9%), alcoholic beverages, (56%), recaturbation, household equipment and household equipment (51%), good shopping, (49% of cash, sugar and other factories, (49% of hotels), and 39% of locals, and other products (s) and other products (forks) and 3.5%% of locals, 39% of locals (forests), and other foods (formal) and other products (forks).
While the fall of prices is noted in COICOP's groups and subgroups: oils and fats (-11.3%), solid fuels, firewood, diapers, etc. (-9.5%) and milk, cheese and eggs (-1.8%) with a common impact of these sub-groups -0.5 percent on IHCK.

Despite no change in October 2023 of the harmonised Consumer Prices Index compared to September 2023, some changes in the prices of articles and services in the groups and subgroups of COICOPI are noted.
Price reductions are noted in subgroups: fuel and lubricants for personal transport equipment (-1.0%) with a common impact of these subgroups from -0.1 percent on IHCH. While price hikes are noted in COICOP groups and subgroups: clothing and shoes (1.7%) and various goods and services (1.2%) with a common impact of these subgroups of 0.1 percent on IHC.
