The Kosovo government has approved the additions to the risk of Kosovo Police.
Police Union Chairman Imer Zeqiri said that if no changes have been made from the preliminary proposal, they are not satisfied.
“If it has made no changes from the preliminary proposal to the decision it has made, the members of the police are definitely not satisfied, not only we union, but no one is satisfied with this level of risk which the government has proved to be”, Zeqiri said.
Asked whether there would be protests again, he said there is no response at the moment.
“I don't know about this yesterday was an appointment, at the moment I don't have an answer to”, he said.
At today's Government meeting, the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, spoke of yesterday's meeting with members of the Special Intervention Unit.
Kurti said they will continue to be committed to improving the working conditions for the Kosovo Police.
“We are and will continue to remain committed to improving Kosovo Police conditions and equipment. Finally, additions to risk risk will start applying from the November salary, while for months until now from the entry into force of the Law for Salaries it will be divided into retroactive”, Kurti said.
The government had on October 27th introduced additions to the risk for members of the police.
For elite units, respectively, for the Special Intervention Unit, the Unit for Fast Intervention and the Unit for Near Protection, the additions will be 150 euros on the base wage.
Meanwhile, for the unit for explosives and demining, the government has said the extension will be worth 120 euros. /Arbresh.info
