The news has been revealed by Kosovo Police, through a post on the official page.
According to this report, the suspension of the protest was held after Police Director Gazmend Hoxha, during his meeting with these entities, has informed Prime Minister Albin Kurti that he has promised that next week I will expect at the official KK management meeting together with representatives of these units to discuss their demands, respectively, to find a solution.
After the PK General Director's meeting with NJSI and NJTME, the decision has been made to temporarily suspend the reported protest for today 07.11,2023, at 12:00. Until the suspension of the protest has come after the general director of the KP, accompanied by the KK management, during the meeting with these units, has informed them that the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo promised that next week I would expect them at an official meeting with representatives of these entities to discuss their demands, respectively, to find a solution. Therefore, the protest warned for today has been suspended until some other decision”, the announcement said.
Otherwise, these units have protested last week in front of the Kosovo Government object, where they sought to face Prime Minister Kurti to discuss meeting their demands. Categorisation as a particular entity, risking to determine 50% of the basic salary and additions to specific working conditions are their three main requirements.
