Mollyqa: Association bill to undo Republic of Kosovo

Social Democratic Party Chairman Dardan Moliqaj said the draft Association will break up the Republic of Kosovo as an independent, citizen and multiethnic state.

The “Draft of the Serb majority municipalities Association accepted by the Government of Kosovo and by Serbia's president essentially dismissed the February 17th Republic, declared as an independent, citizen and multiethnic state. From today, not only does it defeat the Republic as a concept, that is, where citizens are indiscriminately equal to ethnicity and nationality, now as you know, the equality of citizens who have been expressed in Kosovo state symbols through the stars. Each star has represented an ethnicity or nationality in this state jointly founded” has expressed Moliqaj during the PSD's action before the government about the issue of association.

According to him, Kosovo's internal borders have also been drawn from this draft, and there will be continued conflict between two ethnicities -- Albanian and Serbian.

From today the Kosovo flag has only two stars, representing two ethnicities, which in fact represent the essence, the beginning of the ongoing conflict that we will have among ourselves.
