Migrant housing in Albania: No more than 3 grand people sheltered at the same time

The Media Information Agency, the institution depending on the government, has published some of the details on the agreement between the Italian and Albanian government on immigrants.

Albania's Media and Information Agency has published some details of the deal with Italy on immigrants.

According to this agency, Article 3 of the agreement suggests Italy will take over Albanian territory for the establishment of host immigrant facilities.

Article 4 guarantees: Italy entirely raises facilities for the attitude of immigrants at its expense. The maximum limit, no more than 3 thousand persons sheltered at the same time”, says the announcement.

Furthermore, it becomes known that according to Article 6 of the agreement between Albania and Italy, the latter will afford any expense for sheltered immigrants, including health care costs, other unforeseen costs that could come the Albanian side.

“Nini 9: The maximum term for an immigrant's stay cannot be greater than the time needed for asylum procedures. At the conclusion of the procedures, the Italian side performed at its own expense the removal of migrants from Albania”, the deal said.
