Leposavich: Tried to hit the cops, they used guns.

A car tried to hit police officials this morning in Leposaviq. That's when the police used their guns towards the car. Suspects are being sought by police, they are suspected of smuggling with migrants.

Police officials have not suffered injuries from the incident, while 10 immigrants have been sent to the police station for further investigation.

This was also confirmed for Express by Veton Elshani, deputy director of police for the north region.

“Yes, the case happened today, suspected of smuggling migrants, police officials have not been hurt”, Elshani said.

“The people who have attempted to hit police officials by car are being searched by Kosovo Police, have not been arrested, while 10 immigrants have been sent to the police station for further investigation”, he concluded.
