Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in an interview for Austrian television “ORF-TVthek” on Monday, has again spoken of the attack of Serbian paramilitarys in Bay of Zvecan-Zvecan Serb-run municipality in the northern part of Kosovo, saying this act clearly represents Serbia's “finger trace” until it has asked the European Union (BE) to condemn the Serbian state.
He has said the signing of the Base Agreement (Brussels, 27 February) and the Impulation Annex (Our, 18 March) should precede the normalisation of Kosovo-Serbia relations, until he has asked the EU to scale pressure on Belgrade. He has added that the Serb side wants no peace, but engages towards the transition of the situation, especially in the northern part of the country.
Commenting on the draft state <x0-European and modern “for the Association of Serb Majorities, the head of the Kosovo executive has suggested that he himself proposed that the draft draft state for “self-managementism for Kosovo Serbs be drafted by the international organised community, but always in line with the Kosovo Constitution.
He has added that the draft Serbian Major Community Association status is accepted if it is in accordance with three criteria: Kosovo Constitutional Court decision (2015), former European diplomat Federica Moghrini's letter and the position of the United States of America (SHBA) expressed by diplomats Derek Chollet and Gabriel Escobar (2022).
Despite that, Prime Minister Kurti has said that the Association of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo cannot be created without the recognition of Serbia de facto the country's independence, until he has demanded that the EU grant the status of Kosovo candidate country, saying that the country's progress in certain areas should be taken into account.
