The renowned writer, Ismail Kadare, has said he does not understand where the problem lies in the agreement between Albania and Italy for immigrants.

In an Answer to the Italian Mediator “La Stampa”, he has said Albania and Italy are two countries more united than ever, reports Klan Kosova.

I don't care about small things, what happens between governments, protests or power. As I said, Albania and Italy are now united, there are 500,000 Albanians living and working in Italy, many Italians have moved to Albania, there are mixed marriages, big companies are created here, our children have Italian fathers. What's the problem? A deal?

Europe is a beautiful neighborhood and everyone wants to come here, that's normal. People have always moved since ancient times. I don't understand anybody who doesn't agree to”, Kadare further says.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has given an interview for the “Dritto of Rovescio” in Rete4, where he has again talked about the Albania-Italy agreement on hosting African immigrants to two centres in the country until they review their asylum requirements in Italy.

Speaking on a link from Paris, which is located for the Gaza aid donors' conference, Rama said he did not think such an issue would become so big, adding that in immigrants who would be accommodated at 2 centres in Albania, human dignity would be guaranteed.

The prime minister recalled that centres such as those to be established in Albania exist in other countries like Greece, which is in the EU, but no one has made this big.
