Cedomir Jovanovic, chairman of Serbia's Liberal Democratic Party, has announced he will race for local elections, held in December in Serbia.
He has stressed that during the campaign he will tell the truth about Kosovo, which no one really wants to say.
The Serbian politician who recognises the state of Kosovo has declared that I will not lie about the Kosovo issue.
I will not lie to the country for Kosovo, offer you a easier way, because at the end of this road we will disappear.”, Jovanovic said, broadcast Danas.
He has also warned his participation in Belgrade's elections, saying he wants a mayor who will reconcile Belgrade and heal Belgrade.
Cedomir Jovanovic has added that he opposes the Franco-German plan because those who have done it have not thought of Serbia.
As he said, he wants the future government in Serbia to invite Pristina representatives to Belgrade or to go to Pristina, negotiate and that Kosovo be the land of the Serbian and Albanian people, for those who want to be Albanian. The country goes to Albania, and those who want Serbian soil in Serbia.
According to him, in the campaign he is relying on his generation, on people who have always supported PLD and people who don't have time for themselves, not for parties and politics, and that the list will include people he worked with.
Jovanovic has stressed that he wants to go to Kosovo during the campaign and visit Serb families killed, as well as families of Albanian killed police.
He added that he does not respect the Serbian Orthodox Church because it shuts the gates of the monastery before people killing at the monastery gates and because families are remembered only before the Crenaria parade.
