An American military official confirmed that a US-led coalition convoy encountered in an improvised explosive device (IED) near the Mosul Dam.
An American official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said there have been four attacks against American troops in Iraq and Syria in the last 24 hours.
Three American soldiers have suffered minor injuries, the official added, reports Reuters.
Armed Drons also targeted the al-Harir air base in Erbil and Ain al-Assad air base west of Baghdad, where American and international forces are located. The Drons were knocked down by the air defence and no casualties were caused.
