EU foreign ministers meet counterparts from the Balkans Monday

After the Council of Foreign Affairs, EU ministers will participate in the EU-Western Balkans ministerial meeting together with the six foreign ministers of Western Balkan partners: Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia and Serbia.
“The meeting will begin at 17.30 and will be led by EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell”, the EU said in a statement.
The European Commission approved on Wednesday a large financial assistance package for the Western Balkans, otherwise known as “Growth Plan”, of six billion euros for the period 2024-2027.
Of this amount is planned for up to two billion euros to go as grants, while four billion will go into favourable loans or capital investments.
