The European Union's minister for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, was visiting Pristina on Tuesday.

He met with opposition party leaders. At a meeting with Lajcak was AAK head Ramush Haradinaj, he I Memli Krasniqi's PDK, while the LDK represented Lutfi Haziri.

From the LDK's PDK, they said they have not seen the draft Association of recently proposed Serb majority municipalities. But the AAK leader exposed his colleagues. He said at a meeting with Lajcak he saw the draft amendment document.

Unlike his colleagues, Haradinaj said that at the meeting there have been opportunities that, as he said, “introduces the draft-state document to read it as a whole, and to also hold a conversation about the further steps awaiting Kosovo”.

“As soon as we concluded a meeting with the EU's representative for dialogue, Lajcak, but also with other experts who were with him, we also had the opportunity to meet with the draft-state document to read it as a whole and to hold a conversation about the further steps that await Kosovo and what Kosovo can expect as well after implementing the commitments it has made under the French-German <x>- Haradinaj stated.

He said the draft explains all possibilities that the association gives to Serb majority municipalities, and that according to the AAK chairman, each time refers to the Constitution and the laws of Kosovo.

“E have read the draft as a whole, the draft explains all possibilities that the association gives to Serb majority municipalities, understood every time referred to the Constitution and the laws of Kosovo. This draft does not change the responsibilities of municipalities, comments that we agree on this draft we will give to them for review by the Constitutional Court. The introduction of the document explains that the draft should be considered by the Constitution and all other acts”- Haradinaj said.

Whatever is important to me in implementing after review at the Constitutional Court, with the implementation of Association, Kosovo takes a step forward and I can say it is the major compromise of Kosovo stemming from the obligation taken much earlier, and Kosovo rightly requires a quick procedure for membership in NATO”- he added.

Democratic Party of Kosovo leader Memli Krasniqi as he commented on the draft Association of Serb majority municipalities, has said they have not been able to consult the integral text, as he said their concerns continue to be present, because according to him “the keeper is in detail”.

Our “settings continue to be present for reasons because we are not notified in the details of what a “currend is hidden in detail”. We need to see the details of the text to make sure that a foundation of the Association does not change for evil the unitary character of our state and will not transform Kosovo from the ideals of its founders”- Krasniqi said.

He informed us of the steps that have been taken on their part, and in the general terms he expressed the stance of the states of the European Union and other representatives that the Association draft that has been proposed the Government is a draft that is in accordance with the Kosovo Constitution and that does not go beyond red lines, but unfortunately we were unable to consult the integral text” he added.

Chairman The PDK stressed that his party's stance is that there must be greater determination to move forward in this process and more transparency.

“ ...We're not talking about an agreement among the dozens of agreements that have been signed and discussed, but we're talking about one of the most controversial parts that have been discussed the political scene for years, so the draft for forming association in this context I think is to be criticised by the approach of Kosovo institutions, the government with the complete lack of transparency towards citizens, but also the representatives, because in the end it is insufficient to say that this draft is or is not in accordance with the constitution, without being read by a perspective of the conditions of all the constitutions and text of the <1x> he said.

Furthermore, Krasniqi said he has asked Lajca to remove the measures against Kosovo, as according to him the same are unfair, following the September 24th terrorist attack on Kosovo Police in Banjska.

“I have also asked Lajcak for what I have asked earlier in Brussels and France and any other meeting that Kosovo has previously lifted sanctions on the part of the EU because I don't think it's a fair approach especially after the September 24th terrorist attack, where we are convinced it was involved by the Serbian state, while not having any action against official Belgrade, I hope that the request is taken into account<1>- Krasniqi declared.

He said meetings will continue and will be in communication with partners, adding that he has proposed to the prime minister, Albin Kurti, to hold a closed session, if there are obligations such as the privacy of the document.

“I have understanding in the sense of the process because we have experience in such processes, which parties place to a <x1ndrembargo” a text not to be misinterpreted or misused, but this should be placed in a broad public but I don't believe it should be for the legitimate political representatives of Kosovo citizens. I have proposed to Kurt that if there are such obligations that should be respected, we have a closed House session where the MPs will discuss, then they are obliged to maintain proper privacy”- Krasniqi said among other things.

Democratic League of Kosovo Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri after meeting with European Minister for Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak said he has confirmed the LDK's commitment to this process and that there is no option other than dialogue.

Haziri said the situation after 24 September has changed, but unfortunately the Government of Kosovo has failed to capitalise on this good political environment and restore Kosovo's image.

We met for the last time. His commitment is to be praised despite the fact that we are continuing to remain in the dark due to the failure to clear the document, at least in principles and commitments or orientation that the prime minister should be offered to MPs and the people of Kosovo”, he said.

Asked about the LDK's assessment of the new draft of the Serb majority municipalities, Haziri said it is the prime minister's duty to present the document.

He said there are several drafts in circulation, and according to him, none is the main document, but it may contain several points.

“Draft is in limited copies and in few hands...”, he said.
