Conjufca: Kosovo ready to join UN, EU

Konjufca, said Kosovo is committed to contributing to joint global efforts. According to him, the successful implementation of the 2030s Agency would pave the way for Kosovo to become part of the United Nations and the European Union.

“The need for solidarity and co-operation, not only of people but also of states, of developed countries, which are especially in the early stages of their development, so that a lack of basic living elements is challenged. That's exactly what I think is the agenda 2030 of the United Nations, the solidarity and concerted effort to promote equality, prosperity, the well-being for all indiscriminately. Kosovo, even without being a member of the United Nations, is signing the agenda 2030, has pledged to contribute to joint global efforts for sustainable development. Since this agenda is integral to that European agenda, successful implementation of it is convinced that it offers us in two important mechanisms, one day we also aim to be part of them, including the United Nations and the European Union” said Konjufca

Similarly, Konjufca added that the 2030th Agency development plan includes all sectors seeking state institutional assistance. He said our institutions are ready for the drafting of this agenda and that it is a good opportunity to prove the skills Kosovo has.

“In my view, the 2030s Agency, as it is built in the form of a development plan for all sectors seeking institutional interference, helps Kosovo a lot more securely to design its future. Therefore, we have taken steps in this regard. Our institutions have responded to the United Nations' invitation to draw up a transforming and measurable agenda that helps implement accelerated development objectives. For Kosovo this agenda should be seen as an opportunity to prove Kosovo's ability to become part of global initiatives, such as this one that is very important, the 2030 agenda, and to take a contributing role directly on global issues like this, as the possibility of our country, our state for even greater integration in the international arena, along with all the states of the world” said Konjufca.
