Italy prepared for more extreme weather Thursday, with the Ciaraan storm arriving in the country's north, as it still numbers the damage following heavy rain and powerful winds that caused floods, landslides, and heavy electricity cuts in many areas this week.
The country was hit by extreme weather on Tuesday when the River Severso in Milan and Lake Cosmo came out of their banks.
The Ciran Storm is scheduled to arrive in Italy after it hit Britain, Spain, Belgium, Holland and France, where it claimed a lifetime.
The storm's front, with winds over 90 km/h, is expected to bring in more and more abundant “ ”, the LLMeto.it website said.
