Following the failure of the AAK resolution to raise the cofficient by VV deputies who voted against has reacted to the chairman of the Fire Union, Muharrem Beka.
Beka at a proposal has called this a worrying decision.
He says the government should support the workers.
According to Beka, the current salaries of firefighters are insufficient to cope with life.
“In the economic situation we live in is bad news and worried news. The government must support workers and citizens that salaries which are current are not enough to cope with monthly life and spending, this negatively impacts”, Beka says.
Firefighters' leader says that by 2012, only 50 euros of wages have already been raised.
The 2012 wages have not changed for fire service, now with the new 50-euro wage law, the salaries have been raised, but prices compared to now differ greatly -- this is the unaffordable situation”, he has declared.
