Association: Lajcak today and tomorrow in Kosovo meets Kurti, opposition

The European Union's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, will come to Kosovo on Monday afternoon.

The visit confirmed for TIME, The Office of the European Union in Kosovo.

“Yes, Lajcak is in Kosovo today even tomorrow”, Ioanna Lachana from the EU office has said.

According to diplomatic sources, he is expected to meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, as well as with Kosovo's chief negotiator in the Brussels dialogue, Besnik Bislimi. From diplomatic sources in Brussels it is taught that Lajcak will also have meetings with representatives of the opposition in Kosovo.

The visit comes at a time when debate is under way in Kosovo about the draft establishment of the Serb majority municipalities which the parties had presented to Western Emisars a few weeks ago.

After the recent meetings in Brussels on 26 October, which Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president Aleksandar Vuciq had with the leaders of France, Germany, Italy, as well as with European Council President Charles Michel, in the presence of the EU's senior foreign political and security representative Josep Borrell, was told that both leaders had accepted as a good basis for discussions on the proposed draft.
