Albania's ambassador to Kosovo, Petrit Malaj, has stressed that the only way to normalise Kosovo relations is that of dialogue.

These comments were made to Malaj following a meeting he had with KFOR Commander Major General Ozkan Ulustas.

Malaj says he has confirmed to KFOR Commander, that Albania will continue to support KFOR, as our country has Kosovo at its highest priority. Also, this support will follow because in 2024, Albania will increase its presence”

“accompanied by the Military Athesheu Colonel Altin Kurti, I held a friendly meeting with KFOR Commander, Major General Ozkan Ulitas. During this meeting, we discussed the security situation in Kosovo. Major General Ulutas thanks Albania for the support KFOR gives. I confirmed that Albania will continue to support KFOR, as our country has Kosovo at its highest priority. Likewise, this support will continue as in 2024, Albania will increase its presence. Also, I made it known that the only way to normalise Kosovo relations -- Serbia is that of dialogue” -- it has written on its page on HINA Facebook.
