About 60 Kosovo Police officials have resigned from their positions this year. The Police Union says the reason for this has been despair with the Law of Salaries, no health and vital security.
Due to dissatisfaction, some Kosovo Police officials protested and some decided to leave the institution completely.
Between January and November of this year, dozens of members of this security institution have resigned.
So far we have some 60 voluntary resignations and warnings that if something is not moved in this direction there may be additional resignations”, Imer Zeqiri said.
And among the reasons that led to these resignations leads despair with the Law of the Pagans.
This year's “main resignations are with dissatisfaction which stemmed from the wage law as well, but also due to other conditions. Because we're a cop who don't have health insurance and life insurance for years and years of”, Zeqiri added.
Disturbing this situation does not see former Deputy Interior Minister Hajrullah Trnava.
He says there may be resignations after the salary increases.
We have a day-to-day police units are leaving different officers because it's a material question and someone thinks they're getting rich. Even tomorrow, if the elite's salary goes up again, one of them can release it, because everybody's going to look at their accounts”, Ternava has declared.
Of the police effective, who protested before the Government of Kosovo, rejecting the Government's proposal for additional risklessness, no notice has been issued that one of them has resigned. /Dukagini/
