European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, at a joint conference, has thanked Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama for organising the Berlin Summit in Tirana.
Von der Leyen points out that the new plan is to double the economy of the Western Balkans during this decade.
We are here in Tirana, working to bring the Western Balkans and the European Union closer, but at the same time, the whole world has its eyes on the Israeli-Palestinian War. There can be no excuse for the Hamas attack. Israel has the right to be protected under international laws. The people in Gaza need help. They cannot pay the barbarisms of Hamas”, Vaughn der Leen said.
She indicated that the first aid will go to Gaza through Egypt, this week.
The new “Plan has a plan to double the Balkan economy during this decade. Reforms draw Western Balkan states closer to membership. This has been a successful summit and let's taste it”, she said.
