Gerald Darman, French Interior Minister, said the attack occurred in high school “Gambatta” in the northern city of Arras, while the assailant has been arrested.
“Sulmers shouted "Allahu Akbar," or "God is the greatest," during the attack”, police told the AFP news agency.
He's allegedly in his 20s.
French channel BFMTV reported that even the attacker's brother was detained by police.
Television said the slain person was a French language teacher, while a sports teacher was also stabbed and wounded.
Local media have reported that the attacker was a former school student.
Meanwhile, according to the police, the situation is under control.
