Institute Director E PIK, Demush Shasha, has said Kosovo has accomplished all its tasks in terms of visa liberalisation.
“Today, the main diplomatic advice for Kosovo is: smile and say nothing. Kosovo has accomplished all its homework and can remain comfortable for visa liberalisation. We only expect your mother to smile January 1, 2024. ”
He has also spoken of French President Emmanuel Macron's statement, which he said there is no possibility that France “in a uniform way and head in itself” suspends the visa decision.
Shasha said that if Macro has a new visa position it is good to explain because “has been confused with his statement”.
“Eh now whether President Macro has a new position regarding visa liberalisation is best to clarify. Today he's just confused with his statement. There is zero possibility that France unitalally and top in itself will suspend visa liberalisation. This is legally impossible. ”
He has given advice on this matter.
I said before. For me, the golden rule of suspension of visa liberalisation is this: don't take seriously anything until you hear the European Commission talking about it. Until then everything you hear is a normal part of the games and political negotiations. ”
