Scholz: Time to overcome conflict, events in the North proved how important this is

Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz, during his opening speech at the Berlin Process Summit in Tirana, which for the first time is conducted outside the European Union's borders (BE), has asked Kosovo and Serbia to implement the agreements reached so far within the dialogue process for normalisation [...]
While speaking of the moment of EU enlargement, he has mentioned the tense flow in the Kosovo-Serbia reports, especially after the September 24th terrorist attack in the village of Bajn in Zvenja, the Serb-run majority-run municipality of Kosovo, until he has appealed in the face of regional conflicts that are holding the Western Balkans hostage.
The time has come for you to overcome the conflicts that have been going on for too long and in fact keep you in number. Recent escalations in northern Kosovo have proven how important this is. We must complete implementation of the agreements which have been reached in the dialogue on normalisation with the EU mediator”.
The large-scale transition of the situation in Kosovo's troubled north has substantially influenced the performance of the dialogue process that is keeping Western diplomats occupied during this time, although the EU expects the parties to return to the negotiating table under the auspices of European facilitators in Brussels.
Participants in this major event, besides leaders of six Western Balkan countries, are expected to be European Council President Charles Michel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyeen, EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Verhely and many other EU officials and member states leaders.
