Prizren MPs: An example of failure to represent Citizens!
In Prizren, two deputies -- Artan Abrashi and Driton Selmanaj, who are also the heads of branch of opposition political subjects (LVV-LDK) -- have shown a substantial lack of access to their town's challenges. It is surprising how they are inclined to make big statements at the central level, but they seem unable to serve the interests of the Prime Ministers who have voted them.
Beyond the major issues and the major problems Prizren is facing, they seem to be overloaded with party politics and their movement at the central level. This makes them forget their most important tasks, those of representing citizens and protecting their interests.
Their contribution has become too small and inexorable for Prizren. They are not engaged in local projects that should bring visible improvements to the lives of citizens. They are not involved in efforts to preserve and promote the city's cultural heritage, which is Prizren's most precious treasure.
Lack of approach to citizens is essential. They have failed to understand the daily concerns and needs of the Parisan citizens. And most importantly, they have not taken concrete steps to improve the citizens' situation in areas such as employment, infrastructure, education, and health.
Instead of representing citizens' interests and working to improve Prizren, they have focused on their positions of power and party policy. This is a terrible example of incompetent politicians who are rewarded with vote and confidence by the Prime Ministers. Prizren citizens have the right to be disappointed and to seek more dedicated and able leaders to represent their interests.
