Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, concluded their initial meetings with European leaders, in margins at an EU summit in Brussels, but there is still no information on their course.
They were received separately by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Melon, as well as senior EU representatives.
Neither Kurti nor Vucinic gave a statement to reporters.
EU sources say Kurti is expected to meet EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell again during the day, and EU special representative in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.
Serbia's Radio Television reported that Vuciq has already met them.
EU spokesman Peter Stano said earlier that meetings are the continuation of the process that started last weekend, when the so-called big “pece” of Western envoys visited Pristina and Belgrade.
The “Ide is for these meetings to be held in the margins of the EU summit, in support of return to dialogue. The EU's message is that we expect both sides -- Serbia and Kosovo -- to return immediately and without obstacles to the obligations that come out of the dialogue, to work immediately for lowering tensions and restarting the” dialogue, Stano said.
