The US State Department says they know the September 24th attack on Zvecan Banisk was “well co-ordinated and well planned”.
US State Department deputy spokeswoman Vedant Patel was asked at a media conference on the arrest of Milan Radojici on Tuesday and whether he has something to say about it.
We've seen those reports, Shawn. We're not going before the investigation. And as we have said, we know the attack was co-ordinated and well planned, and all those involved in planning and carrying out this attack must be brought to justice”, he said.
Milan Radojic was arrested yesterday in Serbia, but Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has given no indication that he will co-operate with verifying all evidence concerning the September 24th attack on Zvecan Banisk and the terrorist activity of his friend-led group, who fled to shelter in Serbia.
The European Union has called for Belgrade to co-operate unconditionally in investigations that the Kosovo Police will conduct, while institutions in Kosovo have warned they will seek the extradition of Radojici and all other participants in the attack.
For terrorists who managed to flee and whom Vucin said would be held accountable in Serbia, housing was offered, and for the three who were killed, national mourning days were declared.
