Switzerland's President Alain Berset has declared today, on the eve of the European Political Community summit in Granada, that Switzerland wants a peaceful and stable Western Balkans.
Asked about the situation between Kosovo and Serbia, Besset has stated that there have been talks in New York with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, and that he has had the opportunity to meet with the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, where he has also indicated that a solution should be found for the north of Kosovo.
For Switzerland, where many citizens of that region live, it is of key importance that the Western Balkans be peaceful and stable. Switzerland is ready to help stabilise the region,” has declared Beset.
